Guenter Grass, whom I believe we read in high school German class, apparently doesn't think serving in the SS during WW II sufficiently taints his eternal legacy, so he spruces up said legacy with a spiffy blood libel against the Jews (right before Passover!):

Now what would be nice is to hear some criticism from gentile German sources, especially those in the government, and not just from Jews. I'm willing to give 'em a day or two.

My note: when JG says "liberal" he means lefty (Progressive). That is, the modern, debased meaning of "liberal" that I despise.
